Pattern and tutorial with photos for beaded butterfly - Artisan jewelry schema - peyote and herringbone butterfly

You may see the butterfly on the pictures and purchase the pattern I've prepared for it while working on a necklace you see on the pictures. Once you learn how to make such butterflies you could use them for bracelets, brooches, head bands, necklaces, pendants or anything else your imagination could offer!

This particular butterfly is made of 11/0 and 10/0 Czech seed beads using peyote and herringbone stitch. I've used black pearl for the head & small agate beads for the eyes. With 11/0 seed beads the size of the butterfly is as follows: 10 cm (4") wide and 7.5 cm (3") high. Using the beads of a smaller size you may decrease a size of a butterfly.
